Team Update: Welcome Brandon Rogers


Compound Conditioning has been growing like crazy, and we're super excited to add Brandon Rogers to the team - with his passion for training, and expertise in nutrition, he is going going to quickly become your next go-to trainer! To help everyone to get to know him, we decided to dive into some questions...

Q. Let’s start with the basics...

A. My name is Brandon Rogers and I'm 22.  I was born in Vancouver and raised on the Sunshine Coast.  

Q. You’ve been known to have a calm demeanor, but I’ve seen you bring the intensity on the floor, how would you describe your coaching style?

A. I'm about bringing the fire! Simplicity is key. I give my all into the time that I spend with my clients, making sure they get the most out of their workouts regardless of the circumstance...

Q. For a lot of people, music is integral to the workout. What are you playing during your sessions?

A. Man, I've been bumpin' futures new album a lot lately.  A good beat goes a long way when you're pushing yourself to your physical and mental limits. When I'm working out I'll pump myself up with old school hip-hop, gangster rap, and alternative EDM.

Q. Health and performance are what we do. What do those things mean to you?

A. As cliche as it sounds, Health isn't a fad, it's a lifestyle. It's not only about how you get your sweat on, but about how your habits compliment your hard work in the gym. 

Q. We work with everyone with pro athletes to CEOs and youth - what is your ideal client?

A. My ideal client is someone who is goal driven and pumped on making progress.  There's nothing better to see than someone who is just excited about their goals as I am.

Q. We’re adding new trainers, sessions and products - what get’s you excited about training and being a part of Compound Conditioning?

A. I'm really stoked on training the 30 minute sessions. It's crazy how kick ass of a workout you can have in such a short amount of time!

Q. You work a lot on the nutrition side of things and are constantly getting more education and knowledge. What’s your thoughts on diet?

A. Having a good diet comes down to giving your body what it needs, providing it with the nutrients that it desires, and understanding how to eat for your unique body type, fitness level, and goals.

Q. Lastly, we’re a young Vancouver brand. How does living in Vancouver impact you?

A. Vancouver is a beautiful city. The cities greatest attribute is the sheer amount of activities that you can do in nature, most of which are right outside your front door.  We're so lucky to live in a hot spot for like-minded individuals who enjoy making the most of the natural features, that's why so many health and fitness companies strive In this city.
