Adventure Update: Mt Baker

Because we're always hiking, climbing, traveling, biking and, well, exploring, we'd like to start sharing a little more.

Last weekend, on June 26th, we got a crew together and rode from Sumas, WA to the top of Mt Baker. With over 1600m of climbing, covering 106km, this was no small feat.

We were fortunate to have a group of seasoned riders, a few with competitive backgrounds, and a mellow vibe. The first 25km were pretty easy, with some nice rolling hills, but soon the climbing hit and it was awesome. The views were green along the way, finishing with walls of snow and mountain views. Not a bad way to end a weekend.

A big thanks to La Grande Traversee  for bringing me along for the ride. Be sure to check them out here - they do a lot to promote exercise, through cycling, for kids.

Have an awesome day and enjoy the pics.
